Hello everybody and welcome to the second edition of the weekly feature, Guitar Duel. Last week saw Jimmy Page take on Keith Richards and to be honest I thought it might have been more of a contest. But you voted 11 for Page and just 2 for Richards. So Jimmy Page won that Guitar Duel by a landslide.

This week's riff comes from one of the greatest guitarists on the planet, and one of the biggest bands of the late 80's. The band is Guns n Roses. The guitarist is Slash, and the riff... You've guessed it, Sweet Child O Mine. Arguably one of the greatest guitar tracks ever. Q Magazine placed it as the 6th best guitar track of all time, and I would probably say rightly so. Anyway here it is, if you don't know it already, its a riff that every guitarist should have in their catalogue.

Hello everybody and welcome to a new feature within the blog... Guitar Duel.
This is going to be a weekly feature where I pit two legendary guitarists against each other and you lot have to vote on who you think is the better guitarist. I must admit some of these choices will be hard to bare, almost like choosing who is the favourite out of your Mother or your Father. Todays riff comes from the 90's and from a band that was caught up in a battle in the UK at the time. It was called Britpop. And the band, Blur. The verse of Song 2 is played with a clean guitar and the riff goes like this:
