Ok, Hello and welcome to the first of the Monthly competitions. I’ve decided to kick off 2010 by staging a monthly competition around 14/15th of every month. So be sure to check back around that time or sign up to the RSS for your chance to win some amazing prizes.

So How Do I Enter?

Aha, how do I enter, I hear you ask. Well, to enter this free competition all you have to do is;

• Comment on the post saying, “I’m In”
• Retweet the post using the Retweet button in the top right corner of the post
• Sign up to the email rss at the bottom of the post, if you haven’t already

So there you have it. Once you have completed all three of those things you are ready to win yourself some goodies. And once you are signed up to the RSS you won’t have to sign up for other rss competitions. Simples.

So What are the Prizes?

Ok, for the first week I have tried to pick some prizes that everyone should enjoy. I have picked three albums, two of which are being released this month and one other one. I have tried to pick some varied guitar styles for you to listen to ranging from Indie, Blues and Heavier rock.

So the three albums that I have picked are:

• Vampire Weekend – Contra
• Lostprophets – The Betrayed
• Seasick Steve – Man From Another Time

Now these were some very varied guitar styles that I found within the charts so I hope you appreciate them. I haven’t just picked these prizes to get the biggest audience but I have also picked them because it is an extremely important part of guitar learning to listen and appreciate the different styles that guitar has to offer.

Hope those prizes are good enough to begin with. Ideally in the future I would like to have some guitars as the prizes
